The ghouls in mistwood near the merchants have their eyes gliw red and start swarming you, was scary af as i was at that merchant glowing sign trying to look up what it did then i got swarmed by like 50 red eyed ghouls

Omg the great envoy's horn. Somehow i got it without farming it on my first playthrough, then on another playthrough i wanted to make a bubble build, and i farmed it for hours!

The more useful question is, does Discovery scale to drop chance well, on reasonable ranges of Discovery? Or, mathematically (or rather engineering math), what is the dominant effect over the range we normally have Discovery at? For example, say someone has 150 Discovery, 100 base + 50 from the foot. If they also had +99 Arcane for +99 Discovery, they now have 249 Discovery. What is the effect on 0.5%, 1%, and 2% drop rates? Do they scale upwards close to ~x2.5 chance from 100 Discovery (249/100)? Does going from that 150 to 249 mean you get items 249/150 more often? Or do we hit asymptotic effects already? How bad does it differ from expected linear scaling? Does my ~x2.5 expectation go down to ~x1.5? ~1.75? ~x2?

I was so confused when this happened to me. I thought that I'd made a couple hundred wrong turns. Not to mention that I was already starting to let the insanity of the shunning grounds get to me

I have one of the BEST strategies for cases like this. If you ever end up in a maze-like dungeon or you generally lose track, make use of the RAINBOW STONES. The various colors of the stones makes it even better to differentiate

I always equip a pike with giants hunt on it and repeatedly snipe the dragons head for stuns. It's easy to get at least 2 stuns while fighting with Lanseax this way

I'm so happy to still be learning new things about the game despite having autistically studied it since release lol
